New York Eta (chartered 1958)
Westchester Community College - Valhalla, NY
Status: Alumni

New York Eta officially severed its relationship with Kappa Sigma Kappa in December 1967 in response to a college ruling prohibiting national fraternities (KSK was the only one). Incredibly, the college allowed the chapter to continue to use the name Kappa Sigma Kappa as well as the coat of arms. The organization is no longer active, but a strong bond exists among alumni brothers of the chapter.

Brothers from NY Eta who transferred to the University of Corpus Christi founded Texas Alpha Chapter in 1968. Texas Alpha enjoyed a steady stream of NY Eta transfers for several years in addition to pledging new brothers in Texas.

Brother Rich DeMuth has painstakingly entered information we have about many brothers. You may update your information that was entered by Rich. Simply email to gwc@gate.net to request the password.

NY Eta plans a reunion of all brothers June 23-25, 2006. For information, contact Brother Gary Cotter at gwc@gate.net.
